AnoLube runs a full series of gold baths that are formulated to plate varying degrees of purity and hardness, as required by specific application.

Anoplate engineers and plating personnel have extensive experience in gold plating technology, strategies, and practical applications.

They are fully experienced in meeting the requirements of MIL-G-45204, ASTM B 488, and AMS 2422 specifications, including the pertinent gold types, grades, codes, and classes.

The production staff in Anoplate's Gold Department are also fully experienced in surface preparation  and underplating - for example, in the use of copper and nickel underplating to improve corrosion resistance and wear-life, and in techniques of copper flashing as preparatory step to applying gold over copper alloys that contain zinc, beryllium, tellerium, or lead.

Anoplate personnel evaluate the required gold thickness substrate material and condition, method of gold striking, and specific bath composition - all in a processing environment of strict bath maintenance and process control.
