General Description
AnoLube 7959 represents a technological breakthrough in lubrication science. It combines the durability advantages of chemical bonding with the exceptional lubrication properties of PTFE in an environmentally safe, water-base, VOC-free, non-flammable formula.
This specially formulated bonded lubricant deposits a thin, firmly bonded PTFE lubricant on most metals, as well as, some ceramics and plastics (e.g. polycarbonate). The unique properties of Ano - Lube 7959 are related to its ability to chemically bond to the substrate surface.
Once AnoLube 7959 has been allowed to cured, it is virtually unaffected by atmospheric and fretting corrosion, solvents, acids, oils, degreasers, aviation fuel, or hydraulic fluid.
AnoLube 7959 has been successfully applied to a variety of materials by spraying, brushing, or dipping. There is virtually no dimensional change following coating.
Excellent Corrosion Protection, Chemical Resistance, and Long Wear Life make AnoLube 7959 unique in comparison to tradition unbonded Teflon® lubricants or impregnated coatings.
Recommended Usage
AnoLube 7959 is an excellent solution to the problem of lubricating parts:
- that will be operated in corrosive atmospheres
- which are seldom lubricated once they leave the factory and where permanent, life-long lubrication is desired
- where clean operation is desired ( AnoLube 7959 won't collect dirt and dust as grease and oil do )
- where parts are subjected to frequent disassembly
- where easy release is desired ( such as acme nuts and screws and PVC molds )
- where a protective coating and sacrificial break in lubricant is needed
- manufactured from a wide variety of substrate materials including metals, ceramics, and plastics
- such as fasteners, hydraulics, motors, throttles, cables, pulleys, slide mechanisms, hinges, and brake assemblies
Key Features / Properties
- Scientifically proven significantly more lubricating than other available Teflon® Lubricants.
- Water-based lubricant with no VOC's. thus acceptable under the clean air act.
- Makes parts last longer with smoother machinery operation and less maintenance
- Air dry curing allows wide variety of substrates to be coated more economically
