Many of our operations employees start out in our Production Trainee training program. This is a 12-week paid training program that combines on-the-job training and experiences with classroom and computer based training. Upon successful completion of the training program, you can step on the first rung of the career ladder. Trainees can graduate into a variety of positions including a Plating Assistant or Plating Technician. From these positions, you can acquire additional skills and training that will increase your value to the Company as you learn more and more finish specialties.

From time to time, we will also have positions available in Accounting, Customer Service, Process Engineering, Methods Planning, and Facility and Equipment Maintenance.

Currently, we are seeking to fill the following positions:

Engineers
Chemical, industrial, and manufacturing procedures drive our work processes.  Our skilled Engineers drive our productivity in a number of ways.  As an Engineer with Anoplate, you will have the opportunity to influence the quality of finish on our customer’s products, improve internal and external work procedures, and investigate innovative metal finishing technologies and their practicality to our industry and to our operations.

Production Leaders
Must have strong communication skills, flow management experience, lean manufacturing operations experience, and manpower planning experience for optimal efficiency and effectiveness. Ability to train others, conduct performance reviews, and identify lean manufacturing opportunities strongly desired.

Technicians
Our technician perform product inspection & testing, as well as maintenance of chemical processes. Key duties include the identification, use, maintenance & training on proper use of test equipment.  Will test & problem solve chemical processes by weighing, measuring & adding chemicals to our plating baths.  Will also maintain accurate records and communicate with internal & external customers.  This position requires strong attention to detail and recordkeeping and an exceptional work ethic with a desire to learn.  Of course we will provide all training required.


Environmental Operator
Responsible for ensuring environmental compliance requirements are being met at all times. Will perform a variety of tasks including operation of facility environmental control equipment and systems, completion of sampling, testing and analysis for compliance monitoring, handling of environmental waste, participation in emergency spill response, and perform maintenance as needed on environmental equipment. Previous environmental experience is desired and/or a desire to learn these key requirements.


Plating Technicians (multiple openings)
We are always looking skilled platers in the areas of anodizing, hardcoat anodize, black oxide, black nickel, black chrome, plating of copper, nickel, chromium, zinc, cadmium, silver, gold and tin, electroless nickel, electropolish, chromating, conversion coatings such as passivating and phosphating, dry film lubrication and vacuum impregnation. If you have previous experience as a plater, you can put those skills to work today, working for us.


Production Trainee (multiple openings)
You need no prior skills or experience to join us as a production trainee – just a desire to work hard and learn a craft. We will teach you the skills you need to be successful here at Anoplate. This will include learning to follow both written and visual instructions, processing, racking, and packing of products, sand blasting, general cleaning and rinsing of parts, routine plugging, masking, or any other part of the basic production routine. The initial portion of our PAID training program is 10 – 12 weeks, during which time, trainees will be required to complete several different types of training both in the classroom and on-the-job. In our “pay for performance” environment, your progression depends on how quickly and efficiently you learn these tasks.

  • Have a high school degree or GED, or other educational requirements as needed. Candidates without a GED or equivalent will be considered if there is a desire to complete that education while employed with us.
  • Be able to perform the physical aspects of the job.
  • Be able to pass our pre-employment screening including a drug test.
