Anoplate fosters a culture of employee participation and promotes equal opportunity for employees and applicants alike. Our diverse hiring practices include reaching out to many community organizations including the Department of Labor - CNY Works in Syracuse and Working Solutions in Oneida, BOCES, Veterans Administration, andRegional Learning Service, to find you, the Applicant! We even have an Employee Referral Program where we pay our employees to find their co-workers! It is through these entities, and others, that we are able to recruit a qualified work-force.
We communicate with our employees through our monthly newsletter "The Insider" and our periodic "State of the Plate" meetings where employees meet with the Company President to discuss the state of Anoplate.
In addition to tapping into our community to recruit our workforce, once employed here, our employees continue to give back to the community by participating in a variety of fundraising events including the United Way Campaign, Race for the Cure, Light the Night for Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Light the Night, South West Community Center Holiday Meal, and more!
We also have an annual Holiday party with a visit from Santa and gifts for the kids. We welcome the spring with an evening celebration that includes games, prizes and tons of camaraderie among employees. It is at this celebration that we recognize our employees for their efforts throughout the year and years of service throughout their career.
